The Hair Senta was founded by Gwyneth Gyimah Addo, is currently the most highly visible hair extensions company in Ghana supported with a worldwide distribution network serving markets in Ghana.

It has branches in Accra, Kumasi, a franchise in Koforidua and wholesalers in Cape Coast, Takoradi and Tamale.

It is also represented internationally by wholesalers in the USA, UK, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, South Africa, Sweden and Togo.

In addition, Gweyneth offers business coaching for existing corporates, struggling and start up businesses.

Graduating from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2006 with a BA in Philosophy and later an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), ranked No. 2 worldwide, Gwyneth went on to pursue banking with the Standard Chartered Bank as an Associate Relationship Manager (Corporate.
She later on started the Hair Senta brand in 2012 following her resignation to pursue her passion.

Gwyneth was the recipient of CEIBS Africa “Organizational Impact Award” in 2016 and also awarded the “Most Promising Female Entrepreneur” by the CEIBS Alumni in 2017. She recently won the Sales and Marketing for the 40 under 40 Awards 2019.

She continues to chair many high level events and sits in advisory boards for a few businesses in Ghana.

The Hair Senta brand was borne fully out of social media, specifically “Instagram” and has leveraged on this social media tool to build a successful brand with almost 150,000 organic followers on Instagram out of which 78 percent are active customers.

Gwyneth intends to make the Hair Senta one of the most successful hair companies in the world out of Africa.
To achieve this objective, she has added to her belt the prestigious Hair Senta International Beauty Show (HIBS Africa) an annual inter cultural beauty show and exhibition that seeks to project local brands in the space of Hair and Beauty all across Africa to the world.

Her real ambition in life is to make a positive impact on the youth especially the females on making the right choices in life thereby guaranteeing them a good and hopeful future.

what I wish I knew when I started

I wish before I started my business I took sometime off to study the target market properly and mostly the state of the economy in which I was going to operate in.

That has become a learning curve that I share with start ups.
